Libra Energy of Australia plan to develop 30 GW of renewable power generation plants over the next 25 years as follow:
- First 5 years: 1 GW
- Second 5 years: 3 GW
- Third 5 years: 6 GW
- Forth 5 years: 9 GW
- Fifth 5 years: 11 GW
We are currently developing 850MW/3400MWh BESS in Australia and solar farms in 6 other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
70% of the power generation is solar PV and 30% wind turbines. We can add storage as required for each project that in most cases means batteries such as Lithium Ion and flow battery.
Some projects can be designed as a wind/solar hybrid which offer the most efficient power generation. Such combination can be made in locations where the wind speed and duration and radiation intensity is high throughout the year and could be combined with a battery.
Power is an essential part of growth in developing countries and over the next 25 years the requirements become urgent for these communities. We offer a practical solution using the latest technology and innovative financial structure to growing economies.
We design each project with the optimal solution for the specific location and conditions such as wind speed, sun hours, radiation intensity, grid capacity and distance etc. We combine multiple technologies to complement each other for maximum efficiency.
